Family Programs

This past summer the Library entered a music into the "Mr. Billy" contest. This music video was a follow-up to the Mr. Billy concert the library sponsored on July 29 as part of it Summer Library Program. Mr Billy challenged the library to enter the Mr. Billy Concert, and some patrons stepped-up to the call. The young people in this video worked very hard to make this happen. They came up with the song, created the props, learned the words/choreography, and Hillary Lilla volunteered to film the performance in the library garden. The library just learned that it won the contest, and is entitled to a free performance by Mr. Billy. This free 45-minutes performance, Mr. Billy's "Out of Control Rock & Roll Reading Show," is taking place in the community room at 10:30 AM on Saturday, February 27. Don't miss this action-packed, 'hop around" performance, suitable for all ages.

Thanks to the South Centeral Library System staff members who helped make this video link possible. A big thanks to Brenda Francis, our Children's Librarian, for all her hard work with the kids. HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
