UPDATE: Community-Wide Yard Sale CANCELED
The Friends of the Library Board has decided to cancel this year's community-wide yard sale. Given that COVID cases continue to increase around the area, they felt it would be irresponsible to encourage large numbers of people to come to the community for the sales.
This next week, the Home News will include an article about the sale being canceled. In that article, they will list any individual households that are still planning to have a sale. This list will only be those who had sent in their registration forms by the due date. It won't be a lot of marketing, but it will be something to at least let those in the community know you plan to have your sale. If you would like to be listed as still having a sale, please let Stef Morrill know by 5:00 pm on 8/9/2020 (stefaniemorrill [at] gmail.com).
Also, many of you sent a donation in with your registration form. Thank you. We now need to know what you would like us to do with your donation. Please let Stef know if you would like the Friends to give the amount to the library, send your check back to you, or destroy the check.
The Friends appreciate the time you took to register for the sale, and are very sorry they cannot continue with it. As long as we don't have a pandemic next summer, we have every intention of coordinating the sale next year.
