Anime Night - Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children

Come hang out at the library and watch Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children! Celebrate anime, manga, and geek culture! Additionally, there will be some Asian snacks to chow and some awesome anime/manga accessories to check out! We also highly encourage Cosplaying, so break out your favorite character costume! It's a very casual evening where we hope to get teens together to share interests and meet new friends! Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children is rated PG-13, so parental discretion is advised!

It's a quick read, and many people consider at least a cursory knowledge of Final Fantasy VII to greatly assist in understanding the movie. Advent Children Wikipedia Summary: Advent Children takes place two years after the events of Final Fantasy VII and focuses on the appearance of a trio that kidnaps children infected with an unknown disease. Former Final Fantasy VII hero Cloud Strife, suffering from the same disease, goes to rescue the children. He discovers that the trio plan to resurrect the villain Sephiroth using the remains of the extraterrestrial villain Jenova, and he and his compatriots from the game fight to stop them.
