Join Astronomy Educator, John Heasley of Driftless Stargazing LLC, for a story, demos on how eclipses happen, and advice on enjoying the upcoming eclipse safely.

This event will be outdoors in the Library's side yard with a variety of seating (sidewalk accessible).

Movies, Munchies, and More: Ireland - A Colorful Tour of the Emerald Isle

Every Tuesday at 1pm, come to the library for a cup of coffee, a sweet treat, and either a movie or a presentation.

In this presentation, Joe Fahey will share his experiences traveling in Ireland, the Emerald Isle. This fun and informative pictorial presentation will discuss some of the key points of Irish culture, both past and present. Of course, no Irish discourse would be complete without visiting a few pubs.

Homeschool Hangout

Join other area homeschoolers as we gather for games, crafts, learning and just plain fun hangout time! This month you can expect some activities featuring eggs (science) and rabbits (just plain cute)! All ages. Feel free to bring a snack to share.

Celebrate Poetry Month with an evening of spoken word.

Come share poems, a short story or other creative spoken expression. Share an original piece, a favorite author's work, or just enjoy listening. We promise a welcoming setting with engaging words and refreshments for all.

Possible bonus: Students from River Valley High School classes have been invited and may, as in previous years, share pieces they've been working on!
