Starr Carter lives in two very different worlds, trying to find a balance between the poor neighborhood she lives in and the wealthy elite prep school she attends. When she witnesses the violent death of a friend during a police shooting she must stand up for justice, even if it alienates her from friends on both sides.

PG-13- Strong language, mature themes including some violent content and drug use depicted. Parents are encouraged to use their discretion when deciding if this film is right for their child.
