Angel Dreams Studios is back for the 2nd art program in the Together We Make Art! series. We will embrace people of all ages and backgrounds to create a woven community mural to be displayed and worked on through the rest of the summer, Let's make like a spider and get weaving!
You can attend 1 or all 3 of the Together We Make Art! series. It is a safe place to explore friendships, art and community.
A native Mid-Westerner, raised in rural Wisconsin, the artist journeyed to New England in 1990. On completing her degree in Fine Arts, she embarked on her long dreamt of a career as a professional artist, with stained glass as her primary medium. In addition to works commissioned by clients, BillieJo's art has been featured in both solo and juried exhibitions. Her technical and design proficiencies were integral to the success of collaborative efforts between a team of glass artists and physicians, entitled Looking In: Organs and How We View Them, exhibited at the prestigious Yale School of Art. Her skills have also been lent to several important stained glass restoration projects in Connecticut, including the windows at the Plumb Memorial Library in Shelton, and Beth Israel Synagogue, on Orchard Street in New Haven.
Upon returning to Wisconsin, BillieJo has offered her professional talents to the community as gallery and exhibition curator, teacher, and mentor.
All are welcome at Angel Dreams Studios. We strive to provide a safe space that encourages creativity, community and questions. We work through the creative process as individuals within a supportive group. We believe art is about the process not the product. We offer private and small group art classes and homeschool art classes. We are located in the pines, a short walk from the Wisconsin River.
