Family Poetry Workshop

Join Librarian Kate Franzmann (who is a poet in addition to children's librarian) as we kick off National Poetry Month!

Explore different types of poetry and learn about ways to create your own. We'll experiment with rhythm, rhyme, alliteration, and a few other tricks to craft poems that are not only meaningful but also fun to read and share. Maybe you'll write something you'd like to share at our Poetry Slam event on April 17!

We will provide snacks and you are welcome to bring your own as well.

This event is designed with a focus on school-aged children, but everyone (adults included) is more than welcome to participate.

Registration required.
