Teacher resources

Classroom teacher cards

Fine-free teacher cards are available to teachers.  What is the difference between a regular card and the teacher card? The items checked out on these cards are the responsibility of the school district if items are lost or damaged. They require the teacher and the principal to sign the application before the card can be issued. Delivery of items is available for teacher cards only. For a copy of the teacher card application, please click here. Please contact the library for more information at 608-588-2276 or jpassant@springgreenlibrary.org.

Classroom research

Have a classroom theme or project coming up? The children’s librarians can pull books on topics from our library collection or from within the South Central Library System. Please contact the children’s department with your request at 608-588-2276 or cmakos@springgreenlibrary.org. Please include your name and the name of your school, the topic(s), age or grade level of students, number of books you would like, fiction and/or nonfiction, and the date needed. Please include your library card number as well. Gathering of materials may take up to 2 weeks, and delivery is available for those with teacher cards.

Material delivery

Books and other materials on hold for teacher cards can be delivered to your Spring Green school upon request. Delivery service starts on November 1, 2018 and will be on Thursdays (excluding holidays) in the mornings. Pick up of materials to return will also be available. Please contact cmakos@springgreenlibrary.org if you are interested in this service.

Library visits

If you would like to bring your class to the library for a tour, story time, research project, or any other reason, please call 608-588-2276 or email lthomas@springgreenlibrary.org to schedule a visit.
