Library Assistant, Spring Green Community Library
The Spring Green Community Library is accepting applications for an energetic and creative individual to join our amazing team. They will represent and support the overall mission of the library and provide excellent library service. They will work with their co-workers and director to create a fun and welcoming place for the community. No previous library experience is required.
The day-to-day of this job includes processing materials, shelving books, helping patrons at the computers, and working with the public to find them the right book or the answer to a question. The desk at the Spring Green Community Library is a dynamic and exciting place to work.
Home to Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin, American Players Theater, the House on the Rock, and Tower Hill State Park, the vibrant village of Spring Green is the crown jewel of the River Valley, a place where nature and art meet. Our quiet village boasts endless recreational and creative opportunities in Wisconsin’s beautiful Driftless Region. Located in the village center, the Spring Green Community Library serves the village, the River Valley School District, and its outlying communities with a passionate staff, active Friends of the Library group, and widespread community support.
Wage: $13 per hour
Schedule: 16 hours per week, including working the First and Third Saturday of the month. This open position’s schedule includes evenings and weekends.
Requirements: 16 years old or older.
