Virtual Library Cards Now Available

Don't have a library card but want to access the world of e-resources available to patrons? Beginning today (3/27/20) the Spring Green Community Library is offering virtual library cards to meet the needs of the River Valley community during these challenging times. Click here to complete a virtual card application!

Once the form is submitted, a new library card number will be emailed to you, and a temporary web-only library card will be mailed to you, within three business days. Your virtual library card provides access to Wisconsin's Digital Library (home to thousands of digital books, audiobooks, videos and more) through June 30, 2020, as well as many other online resources, including Ancestry, Transparent Language language instruction, and digital newspapers.

Once the library re-opens, you can visit the circulation desk with your photo ID and proof of address to get a full-use library card.

Spring Green Community Library virtual library cards are only available to people who live in our service area and do not currently have a library card. Around us, that includes residents of Sauk and Dane counties. If you live outside our service area, please contact your local library to see if they are offering a similar resource.

Please email jpassant [at] springgreenlibrary.org (jpassant[at]springgreenlibrary[dot]org) with any questions.
